GNON MISSION STATEMENT:
To provide an opportunity where women empower each other in a
FUN and INFORMAL setting for the sake of camaraderie and business development!

What is gnon?
GNON (Girls Night Out Networking) is a group of women who represent a variety of backgrounds throughout the Bay Area and come together on a monthly basis to socialize and network in a fun and informal environment. Since GNON's inception in the Tri Valley (Pleasanton) in June of 2008, GNON Founder and President, Frances Hewitt, owner of FHI Marketing Consultants, has grown the group from 12 to over 1,200 on the email distribution list.
Currently GNON offers its attendees four Bay Area Chapters to choose from, gathering at various business locations. With the exception of the Tri Valley Chapter, which begins anytime after 5pm, all chapters kick off their monthly gatherings anytime after 5:30pm with informal introductions at 6:45pm. The hometown chapter, the Tri Valley, attracts women from Pleasanton, Livermore, Sunol, Dublin, San Ramon and other outlining areas. Our Diablo Valley Chapter, which recently celebrated its one year anniversary, caters to women from Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Pleasant Hill, Concord, Martinez, Danville and Benicia areas. The South Bay Chapter, which will celebrate its one year anniversary in September of this year, welcomes women from the Milpitas, Fremont and North San Jose areas. Our newest chapter, the East Bay, recently kicked off its inaugural event in April of 2013 in Oakland.
Each chapter draws between 50-80 attendees and although there is no scheduled meeting or official presentation, the evening is filled with high energy conversation with women empowering women. Light appetizers and a no host bar is typically offered for attendees, ($10 entrance fee for GNON members; $15 for nn members). Participants are encouraged to bring raffle prizes, flyers, samples, business cards, brochures or any other information they choose to share with attendees.
